Most of India’s internet is in English, despite the fact that 90% of India’s population does not speak English - over 1 billion people. In other words, 1/7th of the world’s population has limited if any access to the internet in their own language.
We seek to address this and democratize the Indian internet by empowering Indian languages online.

The dream takes shape
Founded in 2009, Reverie starts its journey of building technological solutions for Indian languages.
2011
The dream becomes real…
Reverie wins the India edition of Qualcomm’s Q Prize, an international competition for entrepreneurs who strive to bring technology innovation to market.
2015
Series A funding
Reverie raises $4 million in series A funding in a round led by Aspada Investment Advisors, with participation from existing investor Qualcomm Ventures.
2017
